Wahooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Last year, after finding out that we were expecting Ellie, we started the great house hunt. Our first apartment was much too small to try to fit even a crib in there, so we knew we needed to move. We looked at home after home after home. Some were nice, some were pretty ghetto, and some we thought were just perfect! We did a lot of praying, a lot of offer making, but nothing ever worked out. Nothing felt quite right. We got discouraged and kind of gave up on the hunt for awhile. One Saturday we decided to look for a small house to rent. That’s when we found our place right now. We knew it would be a temporary move, but gosh, we love our house with the white picket fence.
A few months ago, an amazing opportunity landed in our laps. Brian’s brother needed to sell his place in Lehi so he and his wife could buy their new house. They didn’t want to deal with the hassle of going through a relator, and they offered it to us for an amazing price. I was surprised how right this decision felt. I love our little home, but after a lot of prayer and fasting, we knew this was the right move for our family. I am amazed at how amazingly perfect things worked out. And I mean perfect! Sure we had a few hiccups along the way, but it was evident that the Lord’s hand was guiding the entire process. We were shown tender mercy after tender mercy. As sad as I am to leave our sweet home, our wonderful neighbors and friends, I am excited for this new adventure! And heavens, I am so excited to paint some walls!
P.S. if anyone has any tips for moving with a baby, send them my way! 😉

Hi. So I recently started following your blog. I have a little Ellie too, 5.5 months and we just moved. Literally. Spent our first night here last night. Anyways, it's been HARD. Slow going for sure. We usually stay up until 2am packing/painting/etc. Then I nap a lot during the day and do what I can while the baby is playing on the floor. Doesn't last long. With your Ellie being more mobile try the pack and play (didn't work for us) or carry her around in those carrier things? My Ellie LOVES that, but it kills my back after awhile. Not too helpful I'm sure, but totally empathizing with you.
