I’m typically not a fan of Halloween. Candy, yes! The whole haunted-scary-eerie-gross stuff, not so much. This year, I decided I was going to get in the spirit at least a little bit. Having a two year old will do that to any ol’ Halloween grinch. 😉 And dare I admit, I actually had fun?! It was a Halloween for the books! We had a simple Halloween dinner with some of the Zurcher brothers and our good friends. I’ll have people over any day so long as I can serve chili and cornbread. Talk about the easiest meal ever (and oh so good!) These printables from the Caravan Shoppe were perfect last minute decorations. We took Ellie trick-or-treating with our neighbors and I’m pretty sure she thought it was the best day of her life. She was so hopped up on sugar and couldn’t contain her excited at every house. “Twick-or-tweat! Thank you! Happy All-ween!” Her entire pumpkin bucket was full to the brim. My costume consisted of a witch hat (hee hee hee) and Brian was an inmate. The look was fitting when he had to break into our house after trick-or-treating, we locked ourselves out! I’m not sure how we’re going to top this next year, best Halloween yet!

Those pictures are priceless. And B looks right at home in his jail suit 😉 I love how you decorated your home for your dinner party. You go all out every time!! Ellie was the perfect Madeline. Can't wait to give her a big love this weekend!!

Oh my, I love her little costume! My DD was also obsessed with the whole Halloween thing this year. So much fun.

I too am a bit of a Halloween grinch but I am hoping that kids will eventually soften me. Your house looked amazing for the party, I love it!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who leaves my keys inside the house. And MADELINE. That was my favorite growing up–love love love.
