6 Gift Ideas for Parents and In-laws

Shopping for my parents and in-laws may be the most challenging people on my list! Here’s a few gift ideas that we have used in the past!

Audiobiography Book

Okay, this might be my favorite one! (I purchased it for both my paretns and in-laws this year!)

Audiobiography is THE best way to document your life story. All you have to do is buy the book and download the FREE app. Then, you open the book to the prompt page you want, scan the QR code, and start recording YOUR OWN VOICE, telling your own story. This is something your family will treasure forever!

You can then share your stories with your family like a podcast! Or upload photos too. I reached out and they gave me a code to share! Use KEEPSAKE20 for 20% off.

Photo Books

Grandmas always love photos 🙂 For a nice 6×6 hardcover book, we LOVE Chatbooks. They’re a great coffee table size and awesome quality. You can get $10 off your first order here.

If you need something quick, these print books from Walgreens are done in one day! They’re 4×6 printed photos and bound into a book. We have dozens of these (and they’re always less than $10!)

National Parks Pass

If your parents live near a state park or any national parks, an annual pass makes a great present. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!

Cozy Blanket

Who doesn’t LOVE a good cozy blanket in the winter? These Amari blankets from Costco are so soft and such a great deal! Minky Couture is another one of our favorite blanket shops! Pair with a few favorite movie treats or warm socks.

Family Games

We love playing games as a family with my parents and in-laws. (And it gets loud!! Haha) Our current favorites are Cover Your Assets, Skull King and The Game.
