Remember when we went to London!? Okay, it was like two months ago, but I seriously still dream about that place. Pure magic! In no particular order, here were my favorites from our two days there:
Bourough Market – This was pretty high on my list of favorites. Amazing food and cheeses and breads, plus lots of samples. My sister recommended it to us and I’d tell everyone to go there. And do yourself a favor, and bring home some cheese! π
The Parent Trap House – It’s my all time favorite movie so I convinced Brian to go with me for a quick picture in front. Seriously, the cutest house and neighborhood!
Harrods! – I wish we had spent more time in here, but we were on a tight schedule. I’ve dreamed of going there since I got a Harrods Postcard when I was 10, so this was a dream come true. And it met all my expectations!
Regency Cafe – We got a full English breakfast (complete with beans!) and it. was. DELICIOUS. I’m more of a sweet breakfast person (give me all the fruit and syrup!) but this meal was one of my favorites this trip. Totally worth the long line (it went pretty quick) and remember cash only!
WICKED! – I don’t have any pictures, but this was MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE thing we did on our trip. I teared up at least three times and have been listening to the music ever since. I can’t say I’m a huge musical person, but this play blew my mind. Treats inside were super expensive but I sneaked in some European chocolate in my pocket which made for a great intermission snack. π
Westminister Abbey – I don’t have any photos of the inside but WOW. We took the guided tour which was amazing (we got to sneak into some cool places) but if you’re short on time, just do the self guided tour with the app on your phone. Amazing.
Big Ben – another check off the bucket list. It’s HUGE and beautiful and looking at all these pictures just make me want to go watch the Crown. π
Buckingham Palace – we didn’t do any tours or stay for too long, but just seeing it in person was AHHH! π We’ve started watching the Crown while we were in London so it was super fun to see all these sights up close. π

Kensington Gardens & Hyde Park – We probably walked way too much that day (next time we’re biking through the park) but it was BEAUTIFUL! Since we were there over election week, everyone that found out we were American started talking politics with us. Hilarious. This gentleman painting in the park was my favorite.
London Eye – I really do not like heights, but the view from the London Eye was well worth it! (So was the fast pass line. π Couldn’t believe the view and at night? Breathtaking!
Winter Market – Cutest holiday market and best food. I found my best souvenirs here and we loved the enchanting atmosphere. Perfect for a quick bite to eat after we hit up the London Eye.
Other memorable moments: the drunk Scottish man who traded our hats and asked for a selfie on the tube. Hilarious! Also, our feet killing us by the time our stay was over. Oh how grateful we were for the 10+ hour flight! π
Oh London, until next time! (There will definitely be a next time π Cheers!
Beautiful!
I was wondering what lens (or lenses) you took with you.
thank you! i took my 50 mm 1.4 lens and 24-70 2.4 lens π
