Every year before Christmas, we make a “bucket list” of things we’d like to do this season. It usually includes a list of the goodies we can’t wait to bake, seeing the lights in town, and of course, gingerbread houses. Or I guess in our case, graham cracker houses. 😉 We’ve been making these for as long as I can remember, and I was thrilled to have Ellie and Addie participate this year!
Addie was pretty much in it only for the candy. 😉 She hoarded all the m&m’s, and licked a good amount of the cinnamon Santa’s.
Ellie was the decorating helped – I believe she “helped” decorate almost everyone’s house! I forgot to grab a picture of her house – it was a heaping pile of “snow” frosting and her house was completely filled with gingerbread men! A lot of the gingerbread cookies were broken, so there was a lot of extra limbs in her house as well. 😉
After my children were completely covered in frosting and candy, they ran immediately to the bath. Sometimes I think they get dirty simply so they can take a bath. 😉 For quick and easy cleanup that doesn’t require a bath we usually use NEW JOHNSON’S® HEAD-TO-TOE® baby cleansing cloths, but when they have frosting in their hair, we stick with a good old fashioned bath and our favorite JOHNSON’S® bath time products. It’s the one baby product that I use over and over again, even when my girls aren’t technically babies anymore. I love the smell (and the newborn nostalgia!) and I completely trust the brand, especially since I’ve been a customer for, well, forever!
We’re so happy to be celebrating this beautiful season with these two squeaky clean girlies! I know I’ve said it before, but the holidays are so much more fun with kiddos in tow. 🙂
A big huge shout out to JOHNSON’S® for sponsoring this post. We’ve used their products for years and have loved working with them over this last year. I’m sharing #JOHNSONS in my life as part of a JOHNSON’S® sponsored series for Socialstars.™ Learn more about JOHNSONS by visiting their Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
