Anyone else feel that the time after the kids go to bed and before midnight is crunch time? As in, the time where evvvverything gets done. Toy clean up, showering without interruptions, answering emails from last month….I know I should be sleeping, but there’s so much to do! Also: peace and quiet. 😉 I have a few minutes to type out a few things so here we goooo:
According to the parenting websites that I read last week, weaning Addie was going to be eaaaasy. I’m hear to report that she’s pretty much screamed for a week straight and no one in this house has gotten any sleep. 😉 Ha! Here’s hoping this week is much smoother. (And less painful, ouch!)
Ellie sang + had a part in church yesterday. The Primary Program is the best Sunday ever.
I’m in denial that Halloween is in ONE WEEK. This month went by crazy fast. Addie has her costume ready – and Ellie – she’s got her whole dress up box ready to go at a moment’s notice. She’s currently deciding between three outfits, and I have a feeling that she’ll end up wearing them all. 😉
Speaking of Halloween, here’s a throwback to my FAVORITE kids costume to date. And remember when Ellie was a mermaid? Also, cute Addie at this time last year with the chunkiest little cheeks!

I can attest to Addie girl screaming all week long! But we have all survived and I am happy to report that she is much happier today and back to her old self. I really don't blame her, if someone abruptly took chocolate away from me I would scream for a week (or longer!), too!! xoxoxoxo
