While pushing one of those monstrous “car” carts through the grocery store the other day (and listening to a chorus of “beep beeeeps” and tiny giggles), we stopped to grab a few waffle cones from the top shelf. We were headed on our way to the next aisle, when Ellie had us stop dead in our tracks. Apparently finding PINK cones at the store is like Christmas….she was SO excited!
The pink cones made it in our cart – mainly because they were cheap and also because more waffle cones for me. 😉 The second we were done unloading groceries we decided to have a mid-afternoon ice cream break in the backyard. The girls sat together on the lawn chair and it was so cute. Until Ellie went off to play and Addie tipped the chair and smashed her ice cream cone (not pictured). I don’t think she cared that she landed on the ground – she was more bummed that the bush now housed her cone. 😉
