Hello Baby Gift Basket

We’ve officially made it past the first year with Addie girl! While that makes me a little sad (I mean, I could snuggle a newborn all day, every day!) it’s also quite exciting. Hello, sleeping more! (I’m totally jinxing myself 😉 I’ve had quite a few friends deliver new babies recently, so we’ve been putting together a few Hello Baby baskets! I always like to give a few of our tried and true favorites to new parents. You know, the softest blankets and diapers, as well as something fun and extra – like bows or baby shoes. (Let’s talk about baby shoes, I know they’re impractical for newborns but they’re just so. darn. cute.)

1. Gather your baby + parenthood favorites
2. Arrange them in a cute bin or basket. (Doubles as a gift bag AND a place for diapers or baby stuff after!)

I tend to forget everything that happened those first six weeks, so writing things down was the only way I remembered anything! 

Diapers
One can never have enough diapers! Our FAVORITE diapers are Huggies Little Movers Plus, available only at Costco. We are huge fans of Huggies (it’s the only brand we have used with Addie!) and minus the few times we ran out on vacation, we almost always buy them in the big boxes from Costco. I love that they are made for babies on the go, with up to 12 hour protection. 

Baby accessories
We love bows or these cute bibs or an outfit < rompers are a great summer choice! 

Late night nursing snacks or a Netflix subscription 😉
Gotta have something to keep you awake in the wee hours of the night!
