Ellie insisted that they both wear their sunglasses because it was a “beach picnic” and we pulled out our favorite gingham mat for easy clean up. Please tell me we’re not the only ones with multiple spills a day. And no, they’re not all by my children. 😉 The second I put down the plate of food, Addie came scooting over…and Ellie did, too! While Ellie sure loves her sweets, the girl also loves her fruits and veggies. I cut up a few apples (no skins for Addie!), carrots and red peppers, and a cheese stick and rolled turkey slices, too.

And a few more photos from our indoor, beach picnic. Remember how I mentioned we spill a lot? We’ve learned that plastic plates are our best friends, less cracked glass that way. 😉

Ellie is always decked out in jewels. While she loves dirt and mud and tractors, she’s definitely all girl. She has been known once or twice to sleep in a “princess dress” and asks to be called Elsa or Rapunzel daily. 😉 Also, the outfit that she’s wearing is her FAVORITE. She wears it immediately after it gets washed, so a few times a week. I think if she had an entire wardrobe of only dresses, she would be completely thrilled. 🙂
And…Ellie wins for best selfie. That is all. Bye!
P.S. Ellie’s outfit is from Gap and moccasins from Freshly Picked, the girls glasses are from Target, Addie’s headband is from Le Beau La Belle and I designed her shirt. My shoes are from Forever Young Shoes, the blue plastic plate is from Target and our picnic mat is from Gathre.
