I know what you’re thinking…why in the world are we talking SQUASH!? Ah yes, this post is indeed rather random. But after wandering around the grocery store the other day, particularly the produce section, by head was spinning. There were so many choices of squash. Butternut squash! Spaghetti squash! Bumpy squash! Orange squash! And I knew absolutely nothing about any of them. After a little googling, and a little doodling, this little infographic on winter squash was born. Now I’m dying to try them in a few recipes. Know of any good ones? I’d love to hear your favorites below! 😉

Squash is my favorite this time of year! So many good ones!
hehe so funny! I love squash actually! I've been craving Acorn & Spaghetti varieties recently. Not sure if my hubby has tried either… we'll have to find out! 🙂 XO – Alexandra

ooh and I guess I am used to just cutting them in half, putting butter, salt, and pepper in them, and baking them! Not sure how long, but it's probably google-able. 😉 XO
Thanks for this! I've been totally lost time and time again and just don't buy anything ha!
This soup is to DIE for. Perfect for cozy Fall/Winter evenings!!

You are darling. And awesome. The end.
I make (and grow!) acorn and butternut squash a lot. Pioneer woman has some awesome recipes using butternut squash and I love to just cut acorn in half and roast cut side down for 45 min and then clip over and put butter/brown sugar and pop back in for another 10 minutes. yummy!
