With our New York visitors in town for the past week or so, we knew we had to take them to one of our favorite places here in Utah. Thanksgiving Point Gardens is always on our list to hit up in the spring and it didn’t disappoint! Tulips, blossoms, and color galore! We packed up the car with the stroller and snacks for a gorgeous afternoon.
Could this be my backyard, please? If only I could keep plants alive for longer than a week. 😉
“I’m ready for an a-venture!” Ellie exclaimed after putting on her shoes. I believe she also made up an “a-venture” song too 😉 This girl.
Someone is becoming quite the daddy’s girl these days and it melts my heart! These two are quite the pair.
No outing is complete without snacks, especially with this pregnant, hungry mama! We packed up a few Tree Top Applesauce pouches for a quick, easy (and no mess!) snack on the go. Not to mention, they’re insanely delicious (and on my list of current pregnancy cravings! 😉

Located in the heart of Washington’s apple country, Tree Top is a grower-owned co-op, deeply rooted in the communities where we work and live. For more than 50 years, Tree Top has been a trusted brand dedicated to delivering top-quality products and premium ingredients such as juices, smoothies and sauces.

We picked up our pouches at our local Macey’s and will be headed back for more this week! In effort to bring awareness to “Raising Good Apples”, Tree Top is partnering with the National Gardening Association’s KidsGardening.org to help educate kids on gardening. For every box of Tree Top Apple Sauce Pouches purchased through 5/31 Tree Top will donate $1 to help KidsGardening.org to help build and grow youth gardens.
We stopped to smell all the flowers, chase the birds, and play in the dirt for a bit, too. 🙂 It was the perfect spring outing!

Tree Top has graciously offered to give away a darling Kid’s Gardening Kit to one lucky reader! The kit consists of: “My Gardening Journal”, Red Tubrug pail, kids gardening gloves, watering can, soft touch hand tool set, favorite five sprouting seeds, and of course, some delicious Tree Top Apple Sauce Pouches. Giveaway runs from 4/13-4/20. To enter, simply leave a comment below telling me about your favorite springtime activity. XO
Looks like such a nice day!
This looks so fun! I'm excited to go when we come up next week! We love to have picnics in the front yard and blow bubbles!
My favorite springtime activity is to have picnics in the park and feeding ducks! I love acting like a little child when the sun comes out!!
So cute 😉 I wish my backyard looked like that too…I have successfully killed mint, bell peppers, yellow squash, and some plant my grandmother gave me and told me I could keep in a closet and it wouldn't die…
Our favorite spring time activity is playing with our neighbors in the backyard with sprinklers and digging in the dirt 😉 our back patio is a mess right now!
So fun and so cute!
Some of our favorite Spring time activities are playing with chalk and bubbles as well as picnics at the park. It is so nice to just be outside!
We love picnics, playing at the park, walks as a family before bedtime, and barbecuing!!
We love eating dinne outside in the back yard. We anxiously await the middle of March and happily put the table out on the patio. Mason around dinner time each evening grabs his tray and exclaims, "Mama… mama." And we head outside to enjoy some quality time and sunshine! 🙂
My little Tenley would love these! Our favorite spring activity has mostly been just playing outside on the grass and in the sandbox! It's been so nice here in Provo that I'd love to go to the beach…alas, no ocean or warm lakes here in Utah. I'm not much of a pool person but we may have to suck it up and go sometime!
Oh man, this age is so fun. They can start really learning and enjoying so much around them at a more independent level. Our little girl has taken a huge interest in our garden and plants and fruits and vegetables lately, it's so fun! But I think our favorite spring activity is going to see the horses and cows that live near our house. They actually let Ava feed them grass which is so fun!
My favorite spring time activity is getting my landscape cleaned up after the long winter. This is strictly a springtime activity I enjoy because by summer the novelty has worn off and I dread yardwork. asotv@aol.com
Our favorite spring time activity so far this year has been playing at the park until the sun goes down. I love when the weather finally warms up! All my kids want to do is play outside, which is nice because then bedtime is a breeze! 🙂
