Other alternative post titles: My Momiform, I Like to Pretend It’s Spring Even Though My Feet Are Freezing Cold, Could It BE Any Colder (why yes, yes it could. Thank heavens for no snow), and I Am So Not A Fashion Blogger. 😉
Yes, it’s true, my husband hates when I wear this hat. I stole it from my brother Spenc long ago (who also happened to hate when I wore this hat, for who knows what reason). You see, it seems to be a sin to wear anything referring to the Yankees in this household since B is a die hard NY Mets fan. I, on the other hand, could care less what logo is featured on the front, because it’s so. darn. comfy. Paint spots and all. Plus, it covers greasy hair quite well. 🙂
Anyway! Onto the real intention of this post! I teamed up with some fabulous ladies again for a “How I Wore It” post. This time our inspiration came from this outfit below:
I loved the green and navy paired together (and stripes! Bring on the stripes!) along with the mix of her casual denim and sweater with those fancy heels. I decided to play off the colors and stripes (my fav!) and downplay a maxi skirt with more of a casual look. (read: mom friendly, I could wear this every single day)
Outfit details: Maxi Skirt: Honey & Lace | Tshirt: Target | Jacket: Old Navy | Hat: Stolen from little brother | Necklace: The Dainty Pair | Sandals: Target and not quite warm enough to wear them yet 🙂
And there you have it. My husband-despised hat, momiform, too cold for winter but perfect for spring outfit. 🙂 Want to see how my other favorite ladies wore it? Check out their blogs below (they are darling!)

Love the momiform! Even with the much-hated hat, and that says a lot, coming from a Bostonian! 🙂
Love it! I love that you chose something practical for you. I didn't realize it until reading all the posts, but the green is my favorite part of this look.
You are too cute! Hooray for maxi skirts–definitely the most mom friendly of all chic outfit pieces. 🙂
Cute! Yours is definitely a little more mom friendly haha… at least toddler mom friendly.. Maybe someday I'll get to wear stilettos again 😉
Seriously I love this! It's definitely mom-friendly, and looks like something I'd wear around the house all the time!
You are the cutest and I just want to be like you. Like seriously. Love it all!
I love the outfit. I looks feminine, but sporty and comfortable at the same time.
This is super cute! I love the hat on you. I think it's really laid back and fun. XO -Alexandra
