We’ve been having an abnormally warm winter and I’m one happy camper! Sunshine, extra park days, and no bulky winter coats? I’ll take it! All this extra sunshine has me dreaming of summer. Since we’re still a ways out, we brought summer indoors! What says summer more than a fresh fruit smoothie? Ellie and I enjoyed drinking ours together, with her favorite colorful straws, of course. (I’m not the the only one that requests cute straws now!)
Our smoothie was super random, but delicious! If you want to make a similar one, you’ll need:
-1 cup diced cantaloupe
-1 cup frozen bananas
-3/4 cup juice (we used what we had in our fridge, some lemonade! But this would be delicious with anything – orange juice, etc!)
-handful of ice cubes
Mix in blender until smooth, drink, and dream of summer! xo
