With the new year came a new church time. No more early mornings for us! We’ve been thoroughly enjoying our lazy Sunday mornings. Somehow we’ve managed to convince Ellie to sleep in a bit (knock on wood that lasts!) and have found ourselves spending a little more time in the kitchen making breakfast. During the week, we stick with cereal, yogurt, or toast with peanut butter, so Sunday morning breakfasts are a real treat! Ellie helped cut up the strawberries, but refused to eat the crepes. Silly girl. Leftover waffles for her, more crepes for us! She helped us dump “snow” on top and made sure we had a few half eaten strawberries in the bowl. Seriously, delicious, even with the half eaten ones. 🙂 Ready for our favorite crepe recipe? It’s divine!
Sunday Morning Crepes (via our Best Bites)
2 eggs
2 Tbs canola oil
3 Tbs sugar (omit if making savory crepes)
1 C flour
1 1/3 C milk
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth (no lumps remaining!) Cook in non-stick skillet pan on medium high heat. ENJOY.
This looks absolutely delicious! 🙂 I want to jump right into the pictures! Yum!!

Mmmmm crepes! Nutella ones are my personal favorite 🙂 We switched to afternoon church this year too, and while it has been hard to get my babies through the day without their naps, it has been nice to take our time in the mornings!
This is our favorite recipe, too….we must be related or something!! 😉
oh yum!! Those crepes look so good!!!!
Oh my goodness, these looks delicious!! Found you through your guest post over at Mr & Mrs Powell – following!
On a side note from those delicious crepes & amazing cake plate, I love these peeks at how you mother Ellie. You're such a lovely role model–I hope I'm half as sweet & patient when my time comes. All of the props to you.
mmm these look delicious! Believe it or not, I have never had crepes before. I just might have to give your recipe a try, I have all the ingredients at home already so it would save a trip to the store!
My crepes always fall apart! Yours look beautiful and delicious. Makes me want to try to make them again!
