We unknowingly planned the busiest and absolute best Labor Day weekend to date. We kicked off the weekend with an end of summer pool party hosted by the sweetest Shelby and her husband Brandon. I wish I had more photos of the dessert crepe table (to-die-for-delicious!) and all the guests. Plus, we couldn’t have asked for more generous hosts. (Have you checked the Osmond’s blog yet? It’s a daily read and filled with the most gorgeous photos!) Saturday we spent ten hours at a local amusement park. Talk about rollercoasters and rides galore! We swam, we rode, we played, and man we were exhausted! Sunday was filled with church, a family game of ball tag, and visiting extended family. Whew! Time for a nap right? Nope, Monday brought a neighborhood breakfast, cleaning the house, tackling the giant mess called our garage, and a good ol’ family bike ride. Oh, have I told you about our one car garage? It’s stuffed with everything you can imagine, including a catapult from the previous tenants. After several trips to the dumpster and a car load to donate to the thrift store, we finished. You can officially walk through (!!!) and park the car in our garage now. Oh, and all our neighbors now think we’re moving. (We’re not!) And just like that, it was over. Talk about a weekend for the books! Doesn’t get any better than that.
^^ Chocolate crepes? Yes please! ^^
^^ Our water baby. She was beyond thrilled to be spending her evening swimming and eating crepes and waffles. ^^
^^ Sweet Michelle from the Mumsy Blog. ^^
^^ Ellie’s first mini “rollercoaster.” It’s too bad you can’t see her face, she was not amused. ^^
^^ Erin taught Ellie the yoga “warrior” pose and that’s all she’s been doing lately. It’s become our go-to family photo pose 😉 ^^
P.S. I just revamped my sponsorship program and to celebrate, I’m offering 50% all ad spaces until Sunday. That’s right, HALF OFF! Wahoo! So if you’re interested in advertising with He & I, simply use code “FLASHSALE” at checkout to receive your discount. Happy Weekend!!
