You know those people that eat three meals a day and that’s it? I’m not one of those people. I LOVE snacks! I recently started working out more (I’ve slacked off big time and all that Norwegian chocolate is catching up to me!) so I’ve been popping in my Insanity DVD’s during the week. Working out always motivates me to eat a healthier. I’ve been stocking up on a bunch of fruits and veggies to keep in our fridge and they make the perfect snacks! Now instead of munching on crackers and cookies and marshmallows, I’m actually feeding my body good food, and man it makes a difference. Here’s a few of my favorite snacks, and bonus, my toddler eats them too!
Ritz Crackers + Natural Peanut Butter + Strawberries
The perfect combo of sweet and salty
Fruit Kabobs
Make ahead and snack on throughout the day for a sweet snack
Raisins + Almonds
Perfect on-the-go snack. Just grab a handful of each as you head out the door.
Strawberries + Cream
When I’m in need of a sugar fix, this is my go to! Strawberries and a bit of whip cream always cure my sugar cravings.
Turkey + Veggies
I love rolled up turkey slices and pairing them with veggies makes for the perfect healthy snack!
Bananas + Peanut Butter
My toddler loves when I cut up banana slices into bite size pieces and add a bit of peanut butter on top. One of our favorites!
Veggies + Cheese
Nothing better than crisp, crunchy vegetables paired with a cheese stick.
Crackers + Peanut Butter + Raisins
Ellie and I love to dip our animal crackers in a little bit of peanut butter for an extra treat. Pair with some raisins or fruit.
Other favorites not pictured: apples + peanut butter, yogurt + granola + fruit, boiled eggs, and fruit smoothies.
What are some of your favorite, healthy snacks?
Kaylee Coles
I love slicing bananas, coating them in peanut butter (if you're ambitious you can also drizzle on honey and sprinkle them with cinnamon, but that's totally optional), then rolling them in Rice Krispies. You can freeze them after that and they're sweet and cold and a little crunchy. I think Ellie might like them. 🙂

Holy cow, that sounds delicious! Definetly trying that one asap!

Yum!!!! I'm always looking for healthy snack ideas! (because I go for chocolate EVERY time!)
Courtney
if I need a sugar fix I like sticking a chocolate chip in the center of a raspberry. pretty much guilt free right?
