I am really excited to start this new little series on this blog! I often get asked by my northern Utah friends where they should go during their St. George trips and vice versa. Since I’m fairly familiar with both areas, I decided to share some of my absolute favorite things to do in Utah.
Let’s start with a Southern Utah favorite, shall we? Hiking Red Cliffs is definitely a family favorite! Not only is it a fairly easy hike (though it gets tougher the further you go), the trail is also spotted with a few swimming holes. What’s that? Water in St. George? You bet! Bring along your swimsuit, especially if you’re going in the spring. We managed to go at just the right time. There was still some water left, it will most likely be dry by the end of summer. Hungry? There’s picnic sites available for day use under the trees. And if you really want to spend the night, there’s campgrounds available as well. (They fill up fast!) I love being surrounded by those red rocks, they make for killer views!
^^ no we did not scratch that into the rock, but we had to take a picture next to it since it was there! ^^

Hey, Alexa! I think your blog is just too cute and have been following for a few months now. Your family is precious. My little family is headed to Utah this August and will be in St. George to see friends for the last 2 days of our trip. I'm sure they would have suggestions too but thought I'd ask what your favorite places are to eat there?
Thanks! And feel free to check us out at adiandmike.blogspot.com. I don't blog as faithfully as some but I try! Thank you!
