On our rainy day in Florida, we decided to hit up the zoo! Our original plan was to hit up the beach, but we waited on it instead. I’m glad we did, because the day we went it was beautiful! (see those photos here)
I’m not sure we expected Ellie to enjoy the zoo as much as she did. By far her favorites were the monkeys and the birds. She squawked along with the birds, oohed at the monkeys, and clung to me when we saw the llama. The snakes creeped us all out and the alligators, well we had to see alligators while we were in Florida 😉

7 years agoWe totally went to this zoo (on an extremely rainy day also!) when we went last spring & I think it might be one of my favorite zoos! Just the scenery itself was so beautiful!
