With all the work we have been doing on the house, we have certainly been enjoying our “day of rest!” The weather has been so nice in the evening that we packed up our dinner and had a little picnic in our backyard. Brian made us chicken alfredo, Ellie downed her noodles…and only threw half in the grass. 😉 We made a few quick ice cream cones and took a family walk around the neighborhood. Ellie was super excited to see a doggie on our walk, but started crying when he came over to say hi. Then she started crying even more when he left. (Obviously daddy found that funny. Girls, just can’t make up their minds 😉 I love having a day set aside that we can put away the paint brushes, the tv shows, the to do lists, and enjoy uplifting messages, church, and our families. XO!
Awww! What a fun day. That is so funny about your little one. I love how she cried more when the pooch left. so funny. xx. McKenna Lou
Ayyy- men!! Hooray for rest. Scanning down, I can see that the house is going to be amazing. So excited to see the full tour! That doll is seriously cute.. and your dolly is the belle of the ball!! I think she gets cuter with each post.
You have the cutest little family. Love Sunday walks.

Love her reaction to the dog coming and going…and B's comments (and laughter) to go with it! Must admit, so true!
And Sunday rest? Best day of the week! We get spiritually filled, connected with the ones we love, and enjoy all that our Heavenly Father has created for us…perfect!
Haha love your Sunday story… I can totally see her doing that! And those pictures are priceless. 🙂 xoxo!
So nice to have a quiet family day together and a picnic is always relaxing for everyone. Ellie is growing & cute as a button.
