The day Spenc left for the MTC came so fast! We woke up bright and early to drive from St. George to Provo.
Ellie was enthralled by Spencer’s silly faces he was making. She wouldn’t take her hand off his arm. So sweet!!
We stopped by Grandma Call’s house to pick her up for lunch.
We ate endless soup and salad at Olive Garden for lunch. I’m pretty sure none of us ate as much as we usually do, nerves I guess 😉 There were lots of other missionary families that had the same idea as well!
Then we headed to the Provo Temple to say a few goodbyes and take some photos. Ellie had fallen asleep during the quick drive from lunch to the temple, so Spenc got to cuddle with her one last time.
We managed to shove ten people in my parent’s car to drop Elder Call off at the MTC. We got a few look as we all piled out 😉
After one last hug each, Spenc waved goodbye! Love this missionary! You can stay up to date on all his adventures and emails over at his mission blog! 🙂
It's always bittersweet to send a missionary off. Good luck to your brother! Oh and did you get a haircut? Cute! I want to cut my hair too 🙂
oh man, this is the hardest thing! my bro has been out for 9 months now and it seems like it has been so much longer! but there is nothing better for them to be doing. good luck to your brother!
this totally brings back memories of sending my brothers off on missions and also when my husband left on his mission! the craziest thing ever is thinking about how old your sweet little lady will be by the time your brother returns!! love the fun pictures 🙂

I sent two brothers off on missions at that MTC! You're related to the Call's in St George. Do you know Toby(sp?) Call?
What a handsome young man and he will come home with so many life experiences to share. We'll miss him, but he is in our hearts.
do they not allow you to go inside with them anymore?? two years goes by so fast!! he'll be back before you know it!
I love this. I love missionaries. Can I write him? HA JK!
Congrats to him and your cutest family!
We just sent off my SIL last Wednesday. It's so fun dropping a missionary off at the MTC. Ps. I love Ellie's hair, it's looking blonde.

What an amazing adventure for Spencer. We will miss him this summer, but I imagine two years is just going to fly by! Love you guys and can't wait to see you in two short months. xoxo
This is so sweet! I'm so excited for him! And I know all of his friends look up to him! Every time I did someone's hair from SC they told me about their friend who was leaving on graduation day 🙂
