Yup, that’s right, we are full term over here! Some days I can’t believe that we’re so close and other days I feel like I’ve been pregnant for for-evvvvvvv-er. Sleep has become a thing of the past lately. I guess that’s my body’s way of preparing me for what’s next. I try to take a nap (or two!) during the day so I’m not such a cranky pregnant woman when B gets home. Ha.
Baby girl is still snuggled up in my belly. Her favorite time to kick and wiggle is at four in the morning. (I’m hoping that trend does not continue when she gets here 😉 I try to get out every morning for a nice walk around the park/hospital. I also found that Target is slightly less than a mile away, so I make frequent walks that way. Only bad thing: I can only buy as much as I can carry home! B is quite happy about that. 😉 B and I like to joke that since we live right across the street from the hospital I’m delivering at, when the time comes I’ll just stroll across the street. Wouldn’t that be a sight to see?
My first trimester cravings have come back with full force – meaning that all I want is Jimmy John’s sandwiches, steak, and ice cream. I also find that by 10:00 pm, I’m starving again. I seriously have two dinners every night! We’re slowly getting all the last minute things done. Hopefully this weekend this little girl’s room will have finished furniture and boxes of clothes unpacked. I’m not too worried about her room not being complete before she comes since for the first little while she’ll be in our room in her bassinet. I haven’t even started packing a hospital bag. I figured that if I didn’t, then she would come early, but if it is packed and ready, she’ll come wayyy past her due date. Ha, that’s my pregnant brain reasoning for you. We seriously cannot wait for this little one to join our family!
