It took me a long time to get into “wifey” mode. We’ve been married for a whole year and B is finally coming home to warm meals on the table…well, on a good night (ok, ok, maybe a few times a week. maybe). Finally, finally I’m starting to enjoy being in the kitchen. Perhaps its because of my cute Antrho apron I get to prance around in, but mainly because I finally found some quick and easy recipes that even I can’t mess up. Seriously guys, they are the best. And they all come from the recipe book “Our Best Bites.” If you don’t have it, go now. (Or visit their website here.) My mom and I swear by this book. Ahhhh-mazing.
Last night we had homemade pizza (we seriously have it once a week, every week), and boy oh boy was it delicious. You can find the recipe here. And make sure you make the pizza sauce too, it makes all the difference! You’ll never go back to the store bought stuff, ever.
Any recipes that you swear by? Please share!
(P.S. I’ve also been practicing some free lensing techniques, so much fun! Check out the tutorial here.)
The recipe I swear by is the lemon chicken! It is seriously…AMAZING! It is so easy and it tastes delicious. It's on my blog and Pinterest. Cool pictures (:

is my favorite. It's so full of carbs & other bad things but it is SO good.
Homemade pizza is the best! 🙂 And I love that you can make dirty dishes look pretty with your photography skills.
My default recipes are pasta or tostadas. SO easy for a weeknight and you can literally put anything you want in them/on them.
I cook usually meals that are meats, but they are my faves:

well oh my goodness. these are photos of all of my favorite ingredients! 🙂
I am the same way… still trying to find the motivation to cook – AND love it. Glad you gave me some hope 🙂
We love breakfast for dinner! Its so easy and always good! Wafffles eggs and bacon
Love OBB! Something I whip up fast is fancy quesidillas. Sooo easy. Just a regular quesidilla but throw in salsa, taco meat, beans, rice, etc. Whatevers in the fridge!
love all the links, keep em coming!
Try this: (I love a dump dump – done recipe!)
Trim 4 chicken breasts. Cut in half and put in 9×13 glass pan.
In another big bowl, dump the following:
1 can cream of chicken
1 can cream of mushroom
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1/2 cup minute rice
2 cans water
1 box Uncle Ben's long grain wild rice (original)
Stir together, and dump over chicken in pan. Bake at 350 for 2 hours.
SOOOOOO good and SOOOOOOO easy. Lots more dump and run recipes. (I'm kinda a collector). If you want some, leave a message on my blog. 🙂
i hope this happens to me soon… lol.
poor hubby. we've had lots of take-out so far. (:

i have a million recipes i love, but i mostly just make them up as i go, so i'm not very good at giving them to other people.
