Our sweet baby girl is getting so big! Officially in the 3rd trimester and 28 weeks along, I’m feeling pretty good. I still pretend I can see my toes, even if I have to lean pretty far over. And, my belly button has almost popped! I love feeling this sweet one move around more and more, although I could do without the occasional jabs in the ribs. Little munchkin loves, loves, loves music, that’s when she moves around the most. During church she’s relatively still until we start singing. Then she does flips galore! Last week in St. George, Erin played her ukulele and it was crazy to see how much she moved around when the music was going, and then completely stopped when E stopped playing! We think she’s going to be a little musician, just like her sweet daddy.
It’s starting to get a little harder to get off the couch once I’ve sunk into the cushions and I seem to miscalculate how large my belly is when trying to squeeze into tight places. I have officially outgrown our little dining room, trying to fit into the space between the wall and the table is near impossible now. 🙂 Since my ribs have been killing me, I’ve totally lost all interest in wearing a bra. Feels good to let the ladies free!
Nesting mode is in full swing now, and B loves it! 😉 The laundry skills I once lacked have suddenly appeared, and the vacuum is getting more use the last few weeks than it did for the first 9 months of our marriage. I’ve become an extreme list maker, from things to get done around the house, to baby items we need, to music I like and need to download. B gets a new email every day with one of my crazy lists.
I took the dreaded glucose test this week, and it wasn’t nearly as bad as everyone warned me it would be. Probably because I love sugar, and let’s face it, that’s all I was drinking. The cute old ladies at the hospital who brought me ice chips are my favorite. Seriously, the cutest.
